Kamuli Mission Hospital provides a unique opportunity for medical staff, medical students and nursing professionals to gain a life changing experience in a welcoming, friendly and relatively safe environment with invaluable exposure to the practice of overseas medicine in a low resource setting. In addition international medical professionals provide invaluable practical help and expertise to the dedicated but overstretched hospital staff.

The hospital welcomes doctors, midwives, nurses and students for periods of a minimum of 6 weeks for volunteering. Visiting clinicians who can offer teaching and training to the staff at the hospital are instrumental in contributing to the development and progress of the hospital and often come for shorter periods of time.

If you are interested in volunteering please complete the online form. For further information about volunteering at Kamuli please contact unwinam@gmail.com

As well as visiting the hospital you can also make a massive difference to KMH by getting involved in fundraising. If you would like more information about ways you can help KMH please contact Dr Philip Unwin philip.r.unwin@gmail.com
